Search engines and directories provide a free submissions page where you can submit your website to be indexed in their database. It is recommended that you read each Search Engine guidelines for submission. Don’t submit the same website excessively otherwise you can be penalised for spamming. Some Search Engines allow one submission per month for the same website.

If your site has good quality content with relevant keywords, and good linking structure, it could be indexed within six to ten weeks. Free submissions does not guarantee that your site will be indexed. If your site does not show up within eight to ten weeks, you may need to resubmit your website.
